Studied at Loughborough School of Art and graduated in 1995. He lives and works in Leicestershire, where he had produced sculptural commissions for the area : a pathway, a sundial and stone seats. He made memorials to Sir Bobby Robson in Newcastle and the Naval Service in the National Memorial Arboretum.
His carvings are usually site specific; the Stort pieces are a good example of this. The sandstone carving for the canal basin in Loughborough is similar in treatment and there is another in New Wales Quay.
He was elected as an associate of the Royal British Society of Sculptors in 2008.
