Friends of Harlow Sculpture (and Gibberd Gallery)
Founded in 2006 to support the work of Harlow Art Trust with the Sculpture Collection the constitution was amended in 2012 to include the Gibberd Gallery, which was taken on by the Harlow Art Trust. The aims of the group are the same as stated in the Newsletter No1 of 2006, although the work has involved a lot more fund raising for the activities of both the sculpture and the Gallery, which houses the Gibberd Permanent Watercolour and Drawing Collection as well as temporary exhibitions.
The Newsletter for the members is circulated and provides a historical perspective of events and is included in this archive.
The Friends run Culture Tours in conjunction with the Gibberd Garden and talks on request to promote the heritage of Harlow’s Art to local and regional visitors.
