Process using moulds (early works were in concrete into plastic, which was broken open, then substituted for wooden moulds from which the mural could be released so the formwork could be reused).
With the closure of the BHS, group access to the mural is no longer available. Its future is being debated as it is not under the Trust’s remit. All BHS stores had been closed by August 2016.
