This was commissioned by the Trust in 1957 from Sally when she was a student at Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts. Based on her maquette it was constructed under the guidance of her tutor Karel Vogel. The Trust had bought Torsos from Vogel in 1955 also cast in ciment fondu.
The work was sited at Harlow’s Sportcentre, Hammarskjold Road and relocated to the grounds of St John’s Arc, Old Harlow when the Sportcentre was demolished. It is currently in the Gibberd Gallery.
